Account of property sold in the city of San Francisco by the California Land Commissioner under an authority of an act of the legislature : approved May 18, 1853 : ms, 1853-1854, 1880.

Volume records land sales and lists lot numbers, size, names of buyers, and prices. Some pages list expenses audited by the Board for which certificates were issued, amounts of money received by the treasurer out of the sale of lots, etc. Volume continues with the "Report of the Board of California Land Commissioners... for state property sold in the city of San Francisco..." with 1853 and 1854 dates. Other sections record water lots sold, a catalogue of lots by lot number with descriptions, and other information. Also includes the California Surveyor-General's Office signed certification that the record is an accurate copy of the original (signed March 17 1880 by James W. Shanklin.)
